This original cyanotype is around 8 x 11 inches (A4), on 150gsm Khadi cotton rag paper. The Indian handmade paper is made from recycled t-shirt fabric, which renders it highly durable. 
 
The print is part of my series of cyanotypes inspired by the feeling of being under observation.  
 
'Specimen II' will be wrapped in archival glassine and shipped in a cellophane bag with a hard backing board. 
 
Avoid hanging a cyanotype in direct sunlight, or it may fade with time. If that happens, you could store it in the dark for a while and the colour will return. I recommend using a traditional A3 frame with a mat, so that there is a gap between the glass and the print. The flow of oxygen helps to keep the print fade-proof.
 
Because of its hand-made nature, it has deckled edges. You could also float-frame to show off the edges, making sure however that the print doesn't touch the glass.
